Who am I? What is my purpose? What is the meaning of life?
These are some of the questions I wrestled with as a young man, looking for hope and meaning in my life. Through a local Christian radio station (shout-out to Praise 106.5FM), I began to learn more about who God was, who I was, and what kind of person God had designed me to be.
Fast forward to the present, and I am convinced that we all have a longing and desire to understand our identity, purpose, and meaning in life. Over time, I have come to believe that the answers to all our longings and desires can be found in the person of Jesus Christ. He is our creator, savior, good shepherd, and friend.
It's my passion, therefore, to know and walk with Jesus every day and then to live my life helping others to do the same.
Some other things I am passionate about include playing music, eating good food (especially Vietnamese!), listening to people’s stories, and having fun/relaxing with friends and family.
I joined Strathcona Vineyard in March 2023 with a strong sense of being led by the Holy Spirit to serve, learn, and journey with this community. I have experienced it to be a place of welcome, authenticity, and grace.
My hope and prayer is that God would empower our community by His Spirit to continue to be a faithful presence and witness of Jesus - to show His kindness and love for all who live in the DTES and Strathcona neighborhood.
