I work as a nurse in the DTES, and when I’m not in the city I can be found exploring around the mountains. I am passionate about sung worship, and the messy beauty that is the building of community. I love being a part of spaces where people who have existed on the margins are welcomed into family.
I moved to Vancouver in 2018, and was intent on visiting many churches before settling into one as my home. God had other plans, and it only took one week at Strathcona Vineyard to be convinced that this was my new church family. I love the simple rhythms of this community, and the passionate hearts that are committed to seeking after God’s heart in the neighbourhood. We are journeying together to learn to love God and love others. It’s can’t be fully described, and best to be experienced.
